Content Policy
Effective May 1, 2026
Vizno is an adult-friendly creator platform. This policy sets the line between permitted content (broad) and prohibited content (narrow but absolute). It applies to all content on the Service, whether published by creators or submitted by users.
Vizno was built for creators who make serious narrative content, including adult and mature work. We grant creators broad latitude on subject matter so long as their content is lawful, properly rated and tagged, and does not cross the absolute lines below.
1. Audience tiers and tagging
Every project on Vizno is assigned a content rating. End users choose which ratings they wish to see in their account preferences. Misrated or untagged content is treated as a policy violation regardless of intent.
- General: appropriate for general audiences.
- Mature: contains mature themes such as violence, substance use, or intense psychological content, but is not sexually explicit.
- Adult: contains sexually explicit material involving fictional adult characters. Restricted to users who have opted in and meet eligibility requirements.
2. Permitted content
The following content is permitted on Vizno, subject to tagging:
- Sexually explicit content depicting fictional adult characters (clearly 18 or older).
- Mature themes including violence, substance use, and dark psychological content presented as narrative.
- LGBTQ+ themes, kink, fetish, and unconventional sexuality involving fictional adults.
- Politically, religiously, or socially controversial themes presented as narrative.
- Non-consensual scenarios as narrative elements — depicted as part of the story, not glorified or presented as instructional.
3. Prohibited content
The following are absolutely prohibited on Vizno, regardless of artistic framing or claimed intent. There is no appeals process for violations of this section.
- Any sexual or sexualized depiction of minors. Real or fictional. Regardless of stated character age, art style, or framing intent. This is the brightest line on the platform.
- Bestiality, incest depicting real family relationships, or other content illegal under U.S. federal law.
- Sexual content depicting real, identifiable individuals — including revenge pornography, deepfakes, and any sexually explicit content of a real person, regardless of any claim of consent (subject to verified-consent procedures described in the Creator Terms of Service).
- Content that promotes, glorifies, or instructs real-world violence, sexual violence against real individuals, terrorism, or self-harm.
- Content infringing third-party copyright, trademark, right of publicity, or privacy rights without permission.
- Hate speech intended to incite violence against a protected class.
- Content designed to deceive, defraud, or impersonate.
4. Adult-content-specific requirements
Creators publishing adult content must meet additional requirements set out in the Creator Terms of Service, including age representation rules, tagging accuracy, and any record-keeping obligations under 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and its implementing regulations where applicable.
5. Moderation and enforcement
Vizno reviews creator content before publication and on an ongoing basis after publication. We may, at our sole discretion:
- decline to publish content;
- remove, restrict access to, or modify the visibility of content;
- require changes before publication;
- suspend or terminate accounts;
- cooperate with law enforcement on content that may be unlawful.
Enforcement is graduated for tagging and minor policy issues (notification, removal, fixable corrections), and immediate for absolute prohibitions (removal, account termination, and where required, cooperation with authorities).
6. Reporting
If you see content that you believe violates this Policy, report it through your account dashboard or by contacting safety@vizno.app. To report a copyright violation, see the DMCA process in the Terms of Service.
7. Good faith
Vizno gives creators broad latitude on adult content because we trust that you are using it as a creative tool. If a creator is consistently testing the line or attempting to find loopholes, Vizno reserves the right to decline to host that creator’s content.
8. Updates
This Policy is reviewed periodically. Material changes will be communicated via account notification. Expansion of permitted categories requires legal review before the change takes effect.
